Stacy (She/Her) and Annie’s (She/Her) beautiful outdoor nuptials took place in May 2023 at Zephyr Lodge in Liberty Lake, Washington. The couple lives in Spokane, and have two gorgeous kids, Miles and Stella. They’re a fun couple living the PNW life who enjoy being at the lake, boating, and BBQing with friends and family. Stacy looked confident and dazzling in the Navy Georgie Suit! Read more about how Stacy got to marry her hot yoga teacher.
How did you two meet?
We met in a yoga class Annie was teaching 9 years ago. For years I went to her class and pulled every muscle in my body trying to impress her ;) Finally, 5 years later, I nailed a handstand, and she had no choice but to ask me out. I got to marry my hot yoga teacher!
What was important to you in planning your wedding day?
Staying authentic to who we are. We wanted to be married on a lake, surrounded by family and friends. We wanted great music and an epic bar. We wanted white lights hung in trees over a dance floor. We wanted a night to celebrate us and our love for our tribe.
How did you go about choosing what to wear for the wedding day?
I knew I wanted to wear a nicely fitted suit. I have never had a suit I have felt 100% myself in. Either they were too masculine or too feminine. I had been seeing Kirrin Finch advertisements, so I thought I would give it a try. So glad I did.
How did you feel when you first saw yourself in your wedding suit?
I felt like myself. I found a suit that made me feel the best I have ever felt in my life.
What were some of the most special memories from your wedding day?
Being with our wedding parties and getting ready. Holding my parents' hands before we walked out of the lodge and down the aisle. Seeing Annie for the first time when I turned the corner and saw her on stage. Dancing with the kids at our reception. And, of course, my BrosMaids choreographed dance to Shoop to kick off the reception!
Anything else?
Last August, I was planning to propose to Annie in Hawaii. She beat me to it and proposed one week prior to mine! It was beautiful. On the lake, family and friends, catered food and a photographer. But I stuck to my plan. I proposed one week later during family photos on the beach in Hawaii. The photos turned out so good, that we flew the photographer to Washington for our wedding! Best decision we have made. She is brilliant and captured our day beautifully.
