I love this suit and can tell I'll have it for a long time.
First, the fit: I'm 5'7", about 140 lbs, and have an athletic build. I got the medium jacket and size 4 pants. Overall, I had to make minimal alterations. The jacket fit great in the arms and shoulders, but there was a bit too much room around my body, so I had it taken in at the sides a little bit. The pants are a little snug on my butt and upper thighs, so I wouldn't want to have to carry a ton of stuff in my pockets, but they fit great around the waist. I had the length taken up about an inch or so. I considered going up a size in the pants, but I feared that if I did they'd be too big around the waist and butt and I'd have to have more alterations made, so I'm sticking with these and hoping the linen loosening over time will give me a little more room.
The material: Super high-quality. Love the lining. I did expect it to be a bit more breathable than it is? I wore it to a wedding in Portland, Oregon, in June. The weather was supposed to be 70s and ended up being like 90. I was sweating pretty heavily in this, but then again I think you'd be hot in anything at that temp.
The color: I love the tan linen because I think it's great for spring/summer. I wore it with a light blue linen shirt and brown shoes, and I think that combo made it a little too "retired dad" for me. I think a fun patterned shirt would help you avoid that.
Overall, I love the suit and definitely plan to invest in another from kirrin finch when I can afford it.
I have always had a frustrating experience buying clothing. Finding pants that meet my size and aesthetic requirements felt impossible until I ordered a dress pant and suit combo from Kirrin Finch. I am so happy I made the investment. These linens are perfect.
Suit arrived nicely and came with a garment bag for travel. If you’re shot like me, you’ll want to go to a local tailor and got everything nicely trimmed up for my body just right. He also took in my jacket to fit me better. But all in all once it’s on, this suit makes me feel like a million bucks! Thanks Kirrin Finch for a great suit option!
Originally bought a 2x but sized up to a 3x because the thighs were too tight, if you have larger hips/thighs you may have to try out different sizes as the waist gets larger but the thigh area but the thighs don’t gain as much when going up a size.
Too expensive
I ordered a size larger based on my measurements at first and ended up returning them for a size smaller. They are too long (as expected) and too baggy in the tummy region. However, a perfect fit in the hips and legs. Overall, a great purchase and overall experience!
Just received my linen pants and they are a perfect fit. Every purchase from Kirrin Finch has filled my closet with lesbian joy and pride.

I’m happy with my oat linen suit! Planning on wearing it to a summer wedding - I’m glad Kirrin Finch offers these breathable options. I took it to my tailor and love how it looks now. The only very minor critique I have is that the pants had a lot of fabric in the crotch area, so they had a sort of long drop to them, so I had to ask my tailor to take that area in a second time. Happy with the results though
These pants have been the best fitting off the rack pants I’ve ever purchased! I am 5’5 175lbs, athletic build with wide hips, typically wear a 33x30 in men’s pants and I ordered a 12 and they are chefs kiss!
The shirt and pants fit perfectly. Absolutely love the stretch waist band! I’m short so I had to get the pants hemmed but that’s typical for me. I ordered 8 in both. I’m 5’2, 150 lbs. I wore the linen pants and shirt to an outdoor wedding (95degrees) I felt comfortable the entire time. Kirrin Finch has become my go to place for formal wear!
These are a perfect fit and feel in pretty much every way. The only thing that didn’t work for me is that when I sit down they sit entirely too low in the back.
I'm 5"4' and at 160lbs, I ordered the size 10 jacket and size 12 pants. I'll need to adjust the length of the pants a bit but it's a great suit!
I wore it for a formal evening event and I felt very comfortable. Normally linen feels a bit itchy for me but this fabric is nice, soft and breathable. Also major shout out to Kirrin Finch for their amazing customer service support!!
I had a work function that was at 5pm on a very warm spring day last week — and these were perfect. They kept me from getting hot, didn’t show any perspiration and looked super nice
I bought the jacket and pants separately, but SO GLAD I went ahead and completed the suit. I wore it out for a fancy date night last night and my wife and I looked GOOOOOD. Very handsome, very comfortable (in the Texas heat), plan to wear it every chance I get.
I love the material and look but it was too small for me. I had to return. I hope in the future size can go bigger.

I bought these for my daughter. she’s typically a size 4 pant, size 2-4 dress and the size 4 fit beautifully. A bit loose in the waist but it’s comfortable and allows her to wear them a bit lower on the hip if she chooses. Got these pants with the matching vest to wear with the white short sleeve button down, which she will wear with brown wing tips, and an awesome bow tie from etsy for a family wedding in August. This will be a bit of a coming out for her and she will look incredible and feel proud of herself. So glad to have found this brand!
Love the color and style. For me, the pants are tighter in the leg than I would like, but this is always been a problem for me: tight in the legs, and loose in the waist.
